Dr. Shahrad Shahrooz

Founder

Dr. Shahrooz, a native of Los Angeles, California, first realized his passion for dentistry while attending UCLA for his undergraduate degree. During this time, he began volunteering at the UCLA School of Dentistry. Having thus far explored his creative side with art, and separately pursued his intellectual side and fascination for the field of science in school, Dr. Shahrooz discovered that in dentistry, he can merge these two interests into one. With this in mind, Dr. Shahrooz continued his education and obtained his doctorate degree in dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry

Dr. Tina Yazdi

Associate

Dr. Yazdi graduated from USC Dental School in 2013 and has enhanced her expertise with advanced training in general dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center, completing a rigorous one-year residency program.Dr. Yazdi’s warm demeanor and genuine care for patients make her an excellent addition to our team. Her kindness and ease of communication create a comfortable and reassuring dental experience. Notably, Dr. Yazdi’s meticulous attention to detail stands out. She is dedicated to providing thorough and transparent care, ensuring you are well-informed about your dental health options.

Dr. Nariman Saadat

Oral Surgeon

Dr. Nariman Saadat is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with an extensive and diverse educational foundation. His journey in medicine and dentistry began at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), where he completed an ambitious dual residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery and a general surgery internship, also earning his medical degree there in 2014. His academic accomplishments continued at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry, where he acquired a DDS degree and underwent rigorous adult and pediatric anesthesia training. Prior to his graduate studies, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA Extension. Dr. Saadat’s professional qualifications are complemented by multiple certifications, including Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, underscoring his dedication to providing top-notch patient care.

i’m 70 yrs old and have been blissed to of had many excellent dentists over the years.. and i can say without reservation that Dr. Shahrooz has the most thoughtful and gentle hands that i’ve ever encountered; this is not to say that my other dentists were not careful and skilled.. it’s just that he is extraordinarily so.. you know he’s in your mouth doing something but you feel very little.. on top of that he is a perfectionist.. within the past year he has replaced two 55-60 year old fillings with crowns; he takes the time and makes itty bitty micro adjustments until it’s perfect! .. additionally the office is super clean, with the latest high tech dental equipment, that amazes an old geezer like myself that remembers the old belt driven tools and wet photo chemical x-rays that shook the building when the button was pushed and took time to develop .. and .. Maria who takes care of scheduling and billing is a joy; she checks with the insurance company before you arrive and shows you a breakdown of the charges and what portion is your responsibility so there are no surprises and there is very little if any waiting.. it’s a top drawer operation and i feel fortunate to have him as my dentist...

There are picky eaters, and then there are picky dentist patients. I'm the latter. I am happy and grateful for Dr. Shawn and his staff. They have always been helpful, answer all my questions and accommodated my schedule. I also bring my girls.

I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental work and have been to a few bad dentists in the past. Dr. Shawn and all of the staff at Toluca Advanced Dentistry are amazing! You can tell that he cares about the well being of his patients, and everyone on staff has always been so nice. Maria at the front desk is super helpful when it comes to explaining treatment plans and helping decide which options are right for you. I highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a new dentist.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Shawn this week and I can confidently say he is amazing! He took the time to explain everything to me, what/why I need to get done and he came up with a dental plan for me. The office staff was very nice, they gave me an estimate of how much everything will cost with my insurance. I had a bad experience with a previous dental office failing to be clear about costs so I really appreciated the transparency. The office was clean and professional. Thank you Dr. Shawn and staff!

This dentistry is tuck away in a very cute setting with lots of foliage when you walk through to the office. The inside of the office is very inviting and super clean. When you first walk in your greeted by Maria. She is so professional and has a very lovely disposition. She definitely one of the stars in this dentistry’s business. The doctor, assistants, and all tech as very nice and extremely professional as well. Of course no one truly likes the dentist, but everyone here makes the experience so much better! I definitely would recommend to anyone.
