Dr. Shahrooz founded Toluca Advanced Dentistry with a clear vision: that high-quality dental care should feel personal, not clinical. A Los Angeles native who trained at UCLA and earned his doctorate at NYU, he built this practice around the same values he experienced as a patient himself - transparency, patience, and a commitment to results that last.

Growing up in Los Angeles and attended UCLA during his undergraduate years, during his last year in UCLA Dr. Shahrooz quickly recognized that dentistry is where science and artistry meet. He pursued his doctorate at NYU School of Dentistry, one of the most competitive dental programs in the country, before returning to the Los Angeles to build a practice that would serve his own community.

Today, Dr. Shahrooz leads a team that handles everything from preventive care and cosmetic smile makeovers to dental implants and full-arch restorations. Patients regularly describe him as someone who "actually listens" as he takes the time to understand what you want your smile to look and feel like, and then maps out a plan to get you there.
